Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall London as Burton Bridge Burton Porter, old school pump clip. Dark brown with a ruby hue to light, foamy light brown head. Aroma is demerara, bready malt, some varnish and creosote. Body is light and smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is quite watery, a little spice and dark breads, light vegetal note, papery finish. Quite watery and simple. Just ok - wouldnt come back to this one.

Cask at the Crown Inn, Oakengates on 9th Jan 2017. Dark brown pour with a beige topping. Mild chocolate and roasted malts in both the nose and taste: a bit watery for a Porter to be honest.

Cask. Pours chestnut with speckled flecked top. Aroma yeasty, biscuit malts. Tastes of both hop fruits and malts so well balanced in a way some porters fail to be. Sweet at the front malts in the core and a growing bitterness in the languor So more to this than one might suspect or expect.

Weird, weird mix. Fruity, Red Berries, Black Currants, then some Coffee, and then some chocolate. Has light touches of tea also. Very thin, not the best.
