Cask pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire, lunchtime on 7th March 2017. Clear deep golden pour, white, lasting head. Nice blend, with the malts balancing the hop content nicely. Slight citrus leanings but a pleasant Bitter and easy to drink. jjsint (3110) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2016
Handpull cask at the Burton Bridge Inn, Burton-on-Trent. Light gold, clear with the tiniest white head. Medium to heavy lacing. Light orange/grapefruit aroma. Sweet fruity taste which then reveals a tenacious bitterness on the back of the tongue. Barley and lemon juice in the aftertaste. Thin body but that’s to be expected considering the ABV and style. Good when drunk at source but I suspect it doesn’t travel all that well. Towey1989 (2831) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2016
Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear pale golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, pale malts and some grassy, floral hops. Taste of pale malts, lemon, some straw and grassy, floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, grassy, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Not a bad golden ale, decent hoppy notes. Drinkable. jmgreenuk (9455) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUN 21, 2015
Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy broken white head. The aroma is light citrus hop, light malt. The flavour is light bitter with a light grass hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Rather light all round really but quite a decent session ale.

If I’d wanted a pint of Lurpak I’d have ordered a pint of Lurpak.

On cask at Burton Bridge Inn - Golden body with a thin white head which soon goes. Aroma is caramel malt, floral and grassy with a sulphurous-ness in the back. Taste is the same with out the match smell, very drinkable however, but my least favourite of the three I had at the brewery tap.
