Very much a summer session ale. Thin texture. Quite sharp and tarty in flavour some citrus and tiniest bit of resin. Small amount of bitterness underneath.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear yellow, thin off-white head, floral hop aroma, lime, hint of resin, good malt hop balance, mild clean citrus finish, refreshing

tombyars (1702) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 12, 2011
Tasted this bitter in the Last Post, Paisley in January 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thick white head. Citric lime note in the short floral aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a juicy zesty flavour of lemon peel and tart grapefruit. Dry dusty hops in the bitter aftertaste compliment the malt well. Refreshing bitter finish with a citric dryness. A typical summer session blond ale.

(CASK @ the Coopers Arms,Rochester) I like Burton Bridge their beers are good and sometimes innovative too. This Golden Best Bitter was pleasant , citrusy fruity hops -married well with light sweet caramel notes. Easy ale...

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAY 15, 2010
Cask. Orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is eggy, wooden, nectary, earthy and quite vegetably. Flavour is very similar with the earthyness being dominating. Also some more fruits and wood than in the aroma.
