Cask (handpump) @ JDW - The Moon Under Water, 68-74 Deansgate, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M3 2FN.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully to mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100121]

Cask. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops on a lightly malty background. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask. Orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is eggy, wooden, nectary, earthy and quite vegetably. Flavour is very similar with the earthyness being dominating. Also some more fruits and wood than in the aroma.

31st March 2008. Light golden ale. Plenty of orangey and grapefruit hop tones but not too dry or bitter.

Cask at bow bar Edinburgh ... pale yellow ... luight fruity hop ... dry fruity musty hops ... light bitterness.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2010
Cask. Slightly hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Lightly fruity nose. Light body, malty and fruity with a whiff of yeast. Hardly any bitterness. 210110

Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 04/06/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is laced with diacetyl, floral tones, butterscotch AD. Taste follows, a little less of the butterballs but still well evident, pale malt, straw, hint of citric fruit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. If I’d wanted a pint of Lurpak I’d have ordered a pint of Lurpak. Twiggy nonsense!

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Gold, with slight haze, thin lasting off white head. Aroma of sherberty grapefruit hop. Citrusy flavours in the mouth, reminds me a bit of Oakham JHB. Right up my alley. I wonder if it has Mount Hood hops in? A little watery in mouth, but the hops are excellent. Good beer.

Sweet sherbetty aroma. Slightly watery body. Sticky resiny bitter taste. Quite drinkable, but a bit boring.

imdownthepub (15526) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2007
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Clouded gold with slight head. Fairly standard golden ale, dry and hoppy, light lager crossover with a touch more interest. Reasonable bitter finish, but it didn’t persuade the lager drinkers on our table to change.
