Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear yellow, thin off-white head, floral hop aroma, lime, hint of resin, good malt hop balance, mild clean citrus finish, refreshing

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Gold, with slight haze, thin lasting off white head. Aroma of sherberty grapefruit hop. Citrusy flavours in the mouth, reminds me a bit of Oakham JHB. Right up my alley. I wonder if it has Mount Hood hops in? A little watery in mouth, but the hops are excellent. Good beer.

BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2017
Cask pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire, lunchtime on 7th March 2017. Clear deep golden pour, white, lasting head. Nice blend, with the malts balancing the hop content nicely. Slight citrus leanings but a pleasant Bitter and easy to drink.

Doppelganger (1388) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - JUL 17, 2008
Cask, with Traci and Fin at the Turf Tavern, Oxford. Warm copper, a bit of white head. Sulfur, nettle, a little lemon sweetness. Grapefruit flavor, fresh and fruity without being particularly bitter. Fresh, light palate, very refreshing. As much as I tend not to like the Burton sulfur nose, it’s not overbearing here.

SarkyNorthener (4784) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2013
[email protected] bridge inn, Burton. Golden ale with large head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and pale malts. Taste is pale malts, citrus, bready and some hops. Decent.

imdownthepub (15140) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2007
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Clouded gold with slight head. Fairly standard golden ale, dry and hoppy, light lager crossover with a touch more interest. Reasonable bitter finish, but it didn’t persuade the lager drinkers on our table to change.

DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2008
Cask in the counting house. Aroma is caramel malt, floural and grassy faint wiffs of sulphur salts. Taste is the same very drinkable however perhaps lacking in bittering hop.

albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2008
Cask at the Sir John Borlase Warren, Nottingham. This is a fairly standard but enjoyable dry blond beer with a nicely long dry finish.

Gravity Cask Pour at Stratford Alehouse 02/03/15. Poured a Golden beer with thin bubbly white head. Hoppy notes, Cereal, Straw and a biscuit feel. Not bad at all.
