COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

can. Poured clear pale yellow with a quickly dissipating head. Sweet corny grain aroma. Light body, average carbonation. Pale malts, cereal grain flavour, sweet pale malt. I don’t drink Busch often but i prefer just plain ol’ Busch, the extra 0.5% alcohol is not worth it.

Can, lots and lots of cans, this is what we used to drink in college, kept it ice cold, then broke it out to get that 5.9% ABV, which was much more than all those light beers we used to drink. Not a proud rating for me, but I did respect this beer in my childhood.

473ml can from the lcbo. Pours yellow with a white head that lasts and laces. Aroma of dust. Minimal flavour but not sweet or overly adjucty. Not fucken bad!

Can, pours bright yellow, strong smell, but clean and crisp taste, what you would expect.

The best part about this beer is that it’s 5.9% - so even though you’re practically drinking water, you’ll at least feel it sooner. So yay?

Consumed out of a 24oz can.It had a bit of that "nail polish remover" taste to it.I don’t know if it was old because A.B. uses the "julian" coding on their bottle.I like bad beers but I will pass on this one.

I get some sweetish banana Runts candy on the nose along with the tiniest bit of malt underneath. Somewhat sweet on the palate with the same light malt and banana flavors up front. The flavor doesn’t last long though, despite the somewhat sweet intensity of the initial impression. The carbonation scrubs the malt and banana flavor to a bland sourness at the midway and then turns to this very watery flavor followed by a very dry, almost “furry” impression on the tongue and cheek during the not so short finish. The weird over-carbonated and dry feeling on the finish lasts longer than the actual taste of flavors.

lesifflebiere (1904) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 10, 2013

Soddy-Daisy, Tn. - some random convenience store - 24 oz. can. Light golden pour, pithy white head. Wet paper bag aroma with some grainy accents. Non-descript cheap lager flavor with some corniness, a hint of soggy cereal and some slight boozy notes. Very dry mouthfeel. Palatable.

What can I say it’s swill but I enjoy a 40oz non the less I’d pick this over any other iced beer for its "drinkability" its pretty smooth and crisp and actually drinks more like a malt liquor no need to describe it we all know what it is but gets the job done without the hangover the next day we’ll in my case....cheers
