COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Buschs exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

The best part about this beer is that its 5.9% - so even though youre practically drinking water, youll at least feel it sooner. So yay?

Consumed out of a 24oz can.It had a bit of that "nail polish remover" taste to it.I dont know if it was old because A.B. uses the "julian" coding on their bottle.I like bad beers but I will pass on this one.

I get some sweetish banana Runts candy on the nose along with the tiniest bit of malt underneath. Somewhat sweet on the palate with the same light malt and banana flavors up front. The flavor doesnt last long though, despite the somewhat sweet intensity of the initial impression. The carbonation scrubs the malt and banana flavor to a bland sourness at the midway and then turns to this very watery flavor followed by a very dry, almost furry impression on the tongue and cheek during the not so short finish. The weird over-carbonated and dry feeling on the finish lasts longer than the actual taste of flavors.

Soddy-Daisy, Tn. - some random convenience store - 24 oz. can. Light golden pour, pithy white head. Wet paper bag aroma with some grainy accents. Non-descript cheap lager flavor with some corniness, a hint of soggy cereal and some slight boozy notes. Very dry mouthfeel. Palatable.

What can I say its swill but I enjoy a 40oz non the less Id pick this over any other iced beer for its "drinkability" its pretty smooth and crisp and actually drinks more like a malt liquor no need to describe it we all know what it is but gets the job done without the hangover the next day well in my case....cheers

473ml can at the golf course. Smells rough......corn, fusel, sweet, cheap malts. Flavor actually isnt that bad. Its kinda refreshing, the sweetness disapears and its actually kinda crisp. Light cereals in the finish with a hint of apples. Super cold on the golf course, this is passable. Im shocked!

busch trilogy tasting session on a pre-summer day, otherwise known as the day that i should have had quenched myself with water instead (also called , in short, the day ive been am-busched). pours clear pale yellow with a small white head, reducing not-surprinsingly quickly. corn, apple juice and booze, hint of sweet faint malts, herbal and grassy blandness. aggressive carbonation, light body - watery. obvious DP again.
