COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

Ghastly, appalling, disgusting beer. Truly, honestly, desperately bad beer.

Sixth of eight in the eugene malt liqour experiment. Very nasty chemical skunk to this brew, just painful to smell, the taste lets the alcohol jump through and really assult the tastebuds with nastiness. This brew just tastes stall and god awful.

Hmmm. Right from the can .WOW they took regular busch and left it in the freezer for a few days. Wow what a really refreshing piece of crap beer this is. Bland, thin , lack luster, unimaginative garbage.

Why are beers like this even made? Tastes like gutter swill ice. Looks like corn water and tastes harldy like beer. Don’t buy.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2004 The beer leaves the cana light gold with a moderate sized whit semi-creamy head and the left over lace a thin coating upon the glass. Nose is malt, crisp and clean, start is lightly sweet with the top thin as water. Finish is strict in its acidity, the hops meek and the aftertaste dry as a desert summer. Been four plus years since I gagged one of these down.

Can, pours bright yellow, strong smell, but clean and crisp taste, what you would expect.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2016 One for the tick only. Putrid sulfuric vegetal aroma is in your face as soon as you crack the can. Luckily, the flavor is not half as bad. Mellow corny sweetness with a whisper of hop grassiness towards the back. Medium bodied with a fizzy but not unpleasant finish. Pours pale yellow, as expected, and holds a wispy head. Its bad but not atrocious. Maybe it’ll sprout some extra hair in my cravback.
