It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

Strong amberblonde beer with a red copper hue. Firm bittersweet taste with an aroma of malt and roasted nuts.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 ottima birra, consigliata per la degustazione. Corposa con un gusto mutevole dal sorso al retrogusto dolce e fruttato.

One really good ale. I drunk it after 4 years age in my cellar. A lot of honey aromas, honey complexity, hoppy, caramel taste and aroma. Like a liquior it was. But I know it in a fresh bottle also. It is huge. You cannot feel the alcohol and the heat so much as in the fresh version. It is sweet and thick.

Bottle from la superette à biere. Cloudy orange color, sweety, boozy, yety. Not my stuff

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2017 Sabe muy bien de draft , dulce y con sensaciones frutales claras pese a tener 12% alcohol.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly transparent gold worth very fine white foam. Aroma is sweet and rather alcoholic. Body is dense with moderate carbonation. Taste is overly sweet but well moderated by the high alcohol. Finish is long and sweet.

Bottle 330 ml. Foggy, reddish-light amber color, white foam. Aroma is strong, fruit esters and alcohol, candies, candied fruits, marmalade, pear and plum wine, a bit of madera and calvados. Taste: strong, alcoholic, brandy, marmalade, lollipops, quite dry and bitter, very warming.

Snoep en een beetje wort... mond heeft meer daarvan... smaak is zoet maar ook n pietsie bitter en dr zit genoeg koolzuur in om te drinkbaar te maken... vrij ok

Famed to be Belgium's strongest Ale, it is remarkable how well-balanced its complex flavors are. Many weaker beers (e.g. Quadruples) have a much stronger alcoholic note. A truely enjoyable experience for your taste buds.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2017 .33l bottle at the Gouden Leeuw in Vessem. Poured a cloudy copper coloured beer with thin offwhite head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet and fruity: hints of caramel and apple/orange. Taste is very sweet. malt, brown sugar, orange, caramel. Appearance is cool, nice glass and bottle. Palate is good. Thick body and medium to low carbonation. Mouthfeel is pleasant. Overall really really good and special beer. Would definitely recommend.
