COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

Orange amber color with a thin off white head. Sweet aroma with an alcohol note. Medium thick body, smooth and syrupy. Tastes of honey liqueur, butter, and caramel. Sweet and strong but I actually think its strength is hidden pretty well, I’ve had a lot worse. It is fairly simple though: sweet and alcohol.

Mooi biertje met een stevige smaak, zoet en niet bitter. Voor mij de lekkerste Bush variant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33cl. Pours deep orange to amber with small white head. Aroma is caramal, alcohol and malts. Medium body with oily texture and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet, alcohol, orange, malt. Long sweet ending. 05/17

Trappist glass 33cl, fresh taped. When I tried it bottled, again the alcohol aftertaste was overhelming. But tapped, this nice orange beer gets a more nice and smooth taste and aftertaste, malty and yeasty.

The aroma of fruits, with wine and alcohol notes. In the taste are apricots, sweet, caramel and alcohol, which is clearly felt. The aftertaste is pleasantly warming. Good.

Botle at Tapp’d in Bethesda MD. Poured a golden orange color - plenty of sediment, ah well! Lots of malty notes, aroma was light apple, yeast, malty notes. Flavor was about the same, lots of malts. Alcohol is pretty well masked for 12%. Wow. Sweet toffee.

Not sure what is happening with this sight my ratings keep disappearing. Had this at Bush in 2005 at the brewery while watching their video and having cheese and sausage.

Nice sweet malty caramel notes. However, heavy alcohol and a tussle to finish. Carbonation dies out pretty quickly. Not the best I’d say.
