3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is sweet malty with some alcohol, an almost seem vinegar. Taste is not vinegar, but sweet like a wee heavy. Appearance is a dark cloudy red/brown with a small white head. Palate has a good thickness with a great amount of froth.
33 cl. bottle@home in Tulip glass@approx. 10 degrees C. Pours clear orange with fair off white head with decent retention and some lacing. Aroma of alcohol, bubble gum and caramel malt. Taste one dimensional, sweet and warm, again with the caramel malt dominating and alcohol too present. Good, full mouthfeel and medium carbonation does not make up for the rather boring, alcohol dominated taste that leaves a sweetish, candy like aftertaste. Don’t get the point of 12% ABV when there is no elegance. Not a beer for me. dzurek (124) - Szczecin, POLAND - JUL 21, 2017

Måske nok Belgiens stærkest øl. Men den er desværre noget sprittet. Det gør at smagen aldrig træder i karakter.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy copper color with a yellow hue. Big beige head. Earthy malt aroma with traces of yeastiness and citrus. Rich mouth coating malt palate. Hearty bittersweet ale flavor. Splendid dry hoppy finish. Long bitter aftertaste. MartyW (278) - DENMARK - JUL 14, 2017
Bottle. Copper colour with a small off-white head. Lots of caramel in the aroma a long with some fruits, yeast and alcohol. Taste is the same. Heavy sweet, light to moderate yeast spicy. Hides ABV quite well with all the strong flavours.

Mooi biertje met een stevige smaak, zoet en niet bitter. Voor mij de lekkerste Bush variant.

Trappist glass 33cl, fresh taped.
When I tried it bottled, again the alcohol aftertaste was overhelming. But tapped, this nice orange beer gets a more nice and smooth taste and aftertaste, malty and yeasty. moldovan9807 (212) - Oradea, ROMANIA - APR 23, 2017
The aroma of fruits, with wine and alcohol notes. In the taste are apricots, sweet, caramel and alcohol, which is clearly felt. The aftertaste is pleasantly warming. Good. anfractuosity (419) - - APR 22, 2017
