It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

Måske nok Belgiens stærkest øl. Men den er desværre noget sprittet. Det gør at smagen aldrig træder i karakter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From old tasting notes. Cloudy copper color with a yellow hue. Big beige head. Earthy malt aroma with traces of yeastiness and citrus. Rich mouth coating malt palate. Hearty bittersweet ale flavor. Splendid dry hoppy finish. Long bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Copper colour with a small off-white head. Lots of caramel in the aroma a long with some fruits, yeast and alcohol. Taste is the same. Heavy sweet, light to moderate yeast spicy. Hides ABV quite well with all the strong flavours.

Mooi biertje met een stevige smaak, zoet en niet bitter. Voor mij de lekkerste Bush variant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33cl. Pours deep orange to amber with small white head. Aroma is caramal, alcohol and malts. Medium body with oily texture and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet, alcohol, orange, malt. Long sweet ending. 05/17

Trappist glass 33cl, fresh taped. When I tried it bottled, again the alcohol aftertaste was overhelming. But tapped, this nice orange beer gets a more nice and smooth taste and aftertaste, malty and yeasty.

The aroma of fruits, with wine and alcohol notes. In the taste are apricots, sweet, caramel and alcohol, which is clearly felt. The aftertaste is pleasantly warming. Good.

Very sweet toffee smell, sweet taste. Very enjoyable. Toffee, caramel notes in taste.
