COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Created in June 1998, Bush Blond is obviously a discovery in the strong blond ales market in which it will undoubtedly play a major role. It has a light and glistering colour. Hugues Dubuisson who is the current brewer wanted it to be worthy of the famous Bush Amber and gave it the same nice aroma and flavour.

250ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Hazy pale orange, lathery white head. Very subtle fruity and flowery aroma, either understated, or just weak. Touch of almond too. Soft palate, but alcohol creeps up the back of the nose. Some fruity esters joined by a touch of glue too. Malty body is quite gentle and sweet, but certainly tasty. Hops are also subtle, but build up gradually, and are definitely buddy and most pleasant. Despite the first taste, the alcohol doesn’t come to the fore at all after that. Theres something quite pleasing about sipping this.

Russo (2012) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - JAN 4, 2009
Bottled. Orange color with a poor white head, disappear in seconds. Aroma is a little bit citrus and weak, but some sweet notes. His flavor get affected by alcohol, remember me the Amsterdam with a better flavor because his citrus and sweety notes, but the excessive alcohol unbalance everything. Mouthfeel is short and quite sweet.

THad this with Oldrtybastrd. This was golden in the glass with a little sweet smell as the yeast floated around and settled on the bottom. This is actually a good blond and well rounded. I was surprised by the fruit smell.
