Created in June 1998, Bush Blond is obviously a discovery in the strong blond ales market in which it will undoubtedly play a major role. It has a light and glistering colour. Hugues Dubuisson who is the current brewer wanted it to be worthy of the famous Bush Amber and gave it the same nice aroma and flavour.

Bottle. Pleasant aroma, full of fruits and some bubble gum. Taste is alcoholic, boozy. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Pours hazy deep golden with a small, foamy, white head that lasts. The aroma contains apple, orange, lemon, yeast, dough and alcohol. It tastes medium to heavy fruity sweet and light bitter; The finish has light hop touches and warming alcohol that remains apparent in the taste. Medium body, oily/slick texture, soft carbonation. I’ll have this again.

Przyjemne!

Pours hazy, golden colour with a small, white head. Aroma of fruits, peaches, apples, malty notes. Taste is rather dry, malty with an alcohol flavour. Some fruits, biscuits and yeast. Bitterness is low, highly carbonated. Pretty decent BSA, but worth trying.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2017 Belgijskie owocki, przyprawy, stosunkowo sporo słodowości, Średnie ciało, wysokie wysycenie, średnia do niskiej przyprawowa goryczka. Przyjemnie słodkie, z rozgrzewającym alkoholem na finiszu.

Very nice belgian aroma. Fruits in the first wave, sweetness and malts in the second. Alcohol fairly well hidden. I’d give it 8% max on blind test. Spicy bitterness on finish.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Bush glass; from the fridge. Strong blond beer, with a overhelming alcohol aftertaste, that have really ruined that experience for me.

2017 - 04 - 17 330ml bottle. dark yellow golden colour. small, white, fading to zero, head. fruits (citrus and hint of banana) in aroma. bit bitter, medium sweet taste

The beer looks like any other Belgian blonde ale. The color of the beer is golden yellow. The beer ahas a slight haze. A lot of bubbles can be seen rising towards the top. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft white foam is formed. The majority of the foam collapses, leaving a nice soft drape. The smell isn’t that great. It isn’t bad, but thats it. I smell mals, some bitter hops and a rather sour basement yeast aroma. Not that great. The smell has to many sour things going on. Not that much else. It isn’t very special. I did expect a bit more to be honest. The taste is better, but still not extremely good. I taste malts, some bitter hops and yeast. The yeast has a slight sourness and some sweeter components. There is a strong alcohol flavour. To strong. It is a bit out of balance. It’s just high on alcohol, without it being balanced. The palate is average to. Medium body, rather high carbonation and a fruity banana yeast finish with strong alcohol warmth. Meh, I did expect a bit more. The beer is good, don’t get me wrong, but it isn’t that special. It is just another Belgian Strong Ale, like there are many. There isn’t anything that makes this beer stand out compared to the rest.
