COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a sweet beer with a pleasant flavour of hops. Indeed, for Bush de Noel, the brewer uses a traditional process which consists in placing hops flowers in the vats where the beer rests for four to six weeks by which time it will have reached full maturity, giving it a very distinctive taste. In the U.S the label generally reads Scaldis Noel.

beer_queue (144) - California, USA - DEC 22, 2016
Dark copper in color; spotty lace & dense legs around the glass. Candied fruit aromas dominate the nose; a lot of alcohol aroma follows with some baking spices. Arrives syrupy with flavors of candied fruits, dark/light dried fruits, and rich malt qualities. Middle of the mouth is the booze & spice. Finishes like a dessert wine with more booze plus grapes. Warms up with some tart flavors at the end. Full-bodied & smooth; sticky on the lips & warm on the way down. Overall it’s a rich, syrupy brew—a liquified fruitcake that’s been soaked in booze. A huge beer at 12%, so a small bottle can hit hard, but the alcohol isn’t so distracting. Delicious and a must-have for the winter season! Compared to the Premium version, it’s quite different; a lot flatter, fewer toffee notes, and less herbaceous.
