The Bush Amber Triple is a traditional Bush Amber which has been bottle-refermented in a hot chamber during 3 weeks. Due to this refermentation, its bitter-sweet taste is even strenghened and its malted with nuts aromas more powerful. The beer is naturally cloudier. The Bush Amber is proposed in a luxury 75 cl embossed bottle with a champagne cork which, while keeping in line with the 25cl bottles, give them an incontestable qualitative style

330 ml bottle. Aroma is very sweet and malty with dried fruit tones, candied fruit, light spice and soft flowery notes atop the alcohol. Taste is also rather sweet with big candy notes, ripe fruit, tropical fruit notes and caramel. Body is medium with an average carbonation and texture. After drinking most of this brewery’s lineup (all tonight) I have to say this is the most boring. Not bad in anyway just real standard.

Amber colour, dissipating white head. Aroma of malts, green banana, brown sugar. Very sweet flavour, light malts, hint of bitterness, very alcoholic. Sweet cloying finish, alcohol. Decent, but much to sweet for my personal liking)

7/IX/13 - 75cl bottle @ Tuinfeest Heeren van Liedekercke - BB: n/a (2013-836) Thanks to Kris for sharing today’s beers!

Clear deep orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit of caramel, pretty hoppy, bit chemical. MF: lots of carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit citric, sweet and caramel, pretty bitter hops, bit sugary, alcohol, some almonds. Aftertaste: bit chemical, chloride, caramel, sugar, bitter hops, fruity touch, little portorised, orange peel, sweet ending.

Nice

Poured into a goblet. BBE 2011. 3.5 A: Murky light brown color. A finger and a half of foamy off-white head that fell quickly. Oh well, this is a big beer, I’ll cut it some slack. 3.5 S: Toastiness and caramel lead the way. Yeasty breadiness. Candied dark fruits, but no fruit really sticks out. It’s more of a generic fruitiness, though if I had to pick, I’d say dates were the focus. Peppery from the yeast. Not a lot of complexity, but it’s still quite pleasant. The booze is hidden quite well. 3.5 T: Same major flavors as the nose. Toastiness, caramel, candied dates and other assorted fruit, and hints of vanilla. Peppery spiciness and breadiness from the yeast. You can taste the booze, but it doesn’t seem like it’s 12%. 3.75 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation with a nice spritziness to it. Smooth for how potent it is. 3.25 D: It’s good, but there’s better out there. Worth a try if you stumble upon it. Serving type: bottle 02-22-2013 06:49:51

(Bottle, as "Scaldis Refermentée") Golden amber colour with brief, foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots, peaches, almonds, orange peel, apple juice, esters and treacle. Fruity, malty taste with dried apricots, orange, almonds, marzipan, orange marmalade, brown sugar, caramel and a generous spicy bitterness in a finish with a certain alcohol glow. Almost full body, quite sweet. Sweetness is quite well balanced by the malt and the earthy, spicy bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle. Aged one-and-a-half year years. Big sweet caramelly aroma, some age is evident. Bright gold/amber. Massive sugary initial / alc. hits the pit of the stomach / smooth sweet warming finish. Medium body. Good stuff. A bit sweet and strong for my taste, but still an interesting tipple.

Bottled. Mineral, caramel nose, peach, esters. Amber colored with floaties. Sweet caramel flavor, fruity, tangy, alcohol. Good. Smoother than the smaller bottles.

Another that doesn't disappoint. If you're looking for a smooth but crisp amber that packs a punch, this is the stuff! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
