Thanks to paco for this. Pours a clear yellow amber with a nice white head. Aroma is pine, orange and hop. Taste starts with a nice smooth blast of pine hop bitterness followed by orange and a dry finish. Really nice beer, wish it was sold in Ontario. I’ve finally hit Bushwakker’s when this is on tap. (Draught) Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a quick dissipating white head atop an orange amber body. Nose is very pine tar and orange. I like the flavour and viscosity of this beer - its still pretty malted but the piney hops show through with a citrus finish. A very good beer. Enjoyed with RB local Paco. My Bottom Line:barncatmatt (2286) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2007
Earthy hop resins and their citrusy angles are cleverly balanced out by caramel malts in this well-built, classic rendition of an American-style Pale Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy orange.
-Malts offer caramel sweetness, but not much more in the way of complexity.
-The sustained hop bitterness is both leafy and resinous.
-The citrusy hop character is mostly orangey.
Bottle; best before May 3rd, 2009. Thx Mike and Trevor!
650 ml bottle from a trade with paco. pours golden with a small white head theis gone quickly. hoppy aromas of grass and citris with some sweet honeyish notes. flavours are big and hoppy with light tasteting malts backing them up. a very well crafted brew that i enjoyed throughly. thanks paco. paco (576) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - DEC 3, 2006

Slightly hazy amber. Really toasty, woody hop nose with light caramel malts. Flavour is also big on the caramel, with a light bitterness and woody hop notes. Good balance. Goldorak (438) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 3, 2005
A hazy shade of orange, with a greying head that held up well.
Aroma like a bouquet of wildflowers just got pollentated by Bees, all that with a side of strawberry jam. If only more PAs smelled like this!!
Crunchy biscuit pale malt taste, just the right amount of carbonation and lingering bitter finish to make this one another winner in my book. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 7, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2005 Lighter in colour than the Premium and the Regina, almost ghost-like. Nice white head. Very nice cascade aroma. Very clean and fresh. Long hop finish. Could sell this in the PNW. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2004
Semi cloudy amber color, small off white head that had a nice long hangtime then faded slowly to a nice lace. The aroma was mildly malty with a nice fruity side some bubble gum and a decent hop side.Very nice brew with a nice malty side up front then a quick turn to garpefruit and mild pine notes with a mild hop presence.Very very nice brew lots of light flavor very floral with a good drinkability side.I could really use more of this brew for a summer cool down brew. Thanks go to OKBeer for sending this very nice surprise my way. mustang3 (254) - Whitby, CANADA - MAY 20, 2004
This is a fantastic IPA. Pours a lovely golden colour and there’s a great nose of citrusy hops. Flavours are citrus and pine from the hops. Carbonation is just about right for a good mouthfeel and a great bitter aftertaste.
