This is a fantastic IPA. Pours a lovely golden colour and there’s a great nose of citrusy hops. Flavours are citrus and pine from the hops. Carbonation is just about right for a good mouthfeel and a great bitter aftertaste. Goldorak (438) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 3, 2005
A hazy shade of orange, with a greying head that held up well.
Aroma like a bouquet of wildflowers just got pollentated by Bees, all that with a side of strawberry jam. If only more PAs smelled like this!!
Crunchy biscuit pale malt taste, just the right amount of carbonation and lingering bitter finish to make this one another winner in my book. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2004
Semi cloudy amber color, small off white head that had a nice long hangtime then faded slowly to a nice lace. The aroma was mildly malty with a nice fruity side some bubble gum and a decent hop side.Very nice brew with a nice malty side up front then a quick turn to garpefruit and mild pine notes with a mild hop presence.Very very nice brew lots of light flavor very floral with a good drinkability side.I could really use more of this brew for a summer cool down brew. Thanks go to OKBeer for sending this very nice surprise my way. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 7, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2005 Lighter in colour than the Premium and the Regina, almost ghost-like. Nice white head. Very nice cascade aroma. Very clean and fresh. Long hop finish. Could sell this in the PNW. barncatmatt (2287) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2007

Thanks to paco for this. Pours a clear yellow amber with a nice white head. Aroma is pine, orange and hop. Taste starts with a nice smooth blast of pine hop bitterness followed by orange and a dry finish. Really nice beer, wish it was sold in Ontario. reebtogi (6330) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 16, 2012
650ml bottle purchased from the brewery pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that settles to some nice lacing. Aroma is citrus and piney hops with hints of caramel. Taste is balanced nice between the bitter hops and caramel malty backbone. Body is medium with some lively carbonation. This is a bold pale ale more like an IPA and was very tasty. dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
This is probably one of my favourite Bushwakker beer. It’s similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (hence the name) but its a bit grassier than that. Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of citrus hops and pine. Great session beer. MartinT (10014) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2009
My Bottom Line:
Earthy hop resins and their citrusy angles are cleverly balanced out by caramel malts in this well-built, classic rendition of an American-style Pale Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy orange.
-Malts offer caramel sweetness, but not much more in the way of complexity.
-The sustained hop bitterness is both leafy and resinous.
-The citrusy hop character is mostly orangey.
Bottle; best before May 3rd, 2009. Thx Mike and Trevor!
