Light bready malt forward aroma is pleasant if simple. Clear deep copper coloured body topped by an almond coloured head that recedes to partial cover with some lacing. Bready and toasted malt flavour with decent botterness and lightly spicy, earthy hop flavours. Piquante carbonation is quite assertive. Rather dry medium body. Sampled on tap at the brewpub before the Als/Riders game. DuffMan (10772) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 9, 2014
On tap @ the brewpub. Light copper, lasting creamy head. Lightly caramelized grains, soft fruity accents, clean finish with low bitterness. This is sessionable as hell! For whatever reason, I really dug this. Fiend (104) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 11, 2005
I was very impressed with the aroma of this beer. There is definitely a nutty flavor present, and the beer has a nice finish which leaves a lingering flavor on your tongue. OKBeer (1175) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 14, 2004
Dark amber colour with a diminishing off-white fizzy head. Aroma is dominated by butterscotch, with bready notes creeping in. Bread and cookie flavours up front, and remaining mostly sweet through the finish with a nutty character joining in. Light to medium bodied and smooth. Thanks Dave. paco (576) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - SEP 8, 2005
Very sweet, nutty aroma. Copper colour with a thin white head. Way too creamy for my liking. Very similar to the Regina Pale Ale I’d say.

650ml bottle purchased at the brewery pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head that leaves some spots of lacing on the glass. Aromas are subtle grains and hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with some fruity esters and nuts finishing with a mild grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. One of the better lagers I have sampled. northropfrye (3732) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 26, 2012
I was disappointed with this one. Not a lot going on. Some sweetness as per the style, but kind of bland. CapFlu (5132) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 2, 2006
(Draught) 5 oz sampler tasted at the brewpub on December 29, 2005, for $1.50. Lasting large white head with a golden-orange body. Roasted and filling bready nose - yet the flavour was somewhat thin and mildly buttery and acidic. I definitely enjoyed the Classic Vienna more...
