On tap @ the brewpub. Medium brown, off white head. Slightly earthy, light chocolate, light roast. Standard brown ale. YigSvartka (304) - Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 8, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2014 A pungent dark roast and chocolate scent. Medium mouth feel consisting of a slightly sticky/gooey texture, without providing a sensation akin to a heavy porter (suits its "brown" title well). Delectable chocolate-roast flavour with a relatively mild, but still perceivable, bitterness. A wonderfully executed brown and one of my personal favourites. dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - OCT 14, 2012
Finally bothered to rate this i guess. Pretty standard brown ale. Nice roast malt, very light on hops, lots of sweetness. Good example of the style. noctivagans (16) - - SEP 15, 2012
Nice layer of slightly tanned head, laced well. Started off with just the right amount of sweetness, finished with a subtle taste of roasted malt. A really well done brown. northropfrye (3601) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 26, 2012
Dark malty frothy appearance.Taste is sweet, with dark roasted malts. A nice brown ale from Bushwakker.

650ml bottle purchased from the brewpub pours a dark brown color with 2 fingers of light tan head which leaves a healthy lacing on the glass. Aromas are of light roasted malts with hints of fruit and chocolate. Taste is light roasty malt bitterness with hints of fruit and chocolate and mild hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated. This is my favorite from this brewpub. mnurda (1285) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 15, 2011

I love this bar, but the only notes I have are the numbers, which is unfortunate.... VertBaconStrips (2389) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - NOV 6, 2010
Mahogany, average sized bubbly medium tan head that leaves lots of splotchy lacing. The aroma is quite toasty and pleasant, sweet caramel, hint of spice, faint hop. Straight forward aroma. This is a pretty tasty brew with moderate soft roast and caramel balanced well, weak fruity something, mild dull coffee and I’m having a hell of a time placing the hops and I think it may be a very faint pine. Either way, the hop bitterness works well. Zippy. Calming mouth feel, carbonation might be a touch high. Long but mild bitter finish with roastiness that follows. A very tasty beer. Pours a deep brown colour, cloudy with a medium beige head. Aroma is malty with chocolate and grains quite noticeable as well as a sweeter caramel/toffee scent too. Taste is of chocolate, slightly sweet with a grainy, bread like taste in the finish. Medium body with a slightly thin mouth feel. Overall an enjoyable beer, makes me want to try more by Bushwakkers.
