Ragnampiza (751) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - MAY 5, 2014
750 ml bottle from Portale Birra, served in a shaker glass. Dark reddish/amber, quite clear, with an average, frothy light beige head. Very pleasent aroma, pretty balsamic and intense, with notes of citrus, pine needles, dark fruits, caramel and a hint of alchool. There is actually a good amount of sweetness upfront, during the first sip, but it disappears pretty much completely leaving the scene to a strong, rooty, and herbal bitterness. The alchool is there, definitely, it can be felt warming the throat, and could be hidden a bit better. Long and persistent fruity aftertaste, with some toffee/caramel and sugary taste. Quite nutty and slightly toasted as well. Soft to average carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. Solid. olsvammel (7274) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 26, 2013
Sample from a friend. Fruity smell with honey and dried fruit, wineous. Similr taste, quite sweet and boozy. Bitter finnish, actually a herbal kind of bitterness. Feels stronger then it is. daniele (9550) - ITALY - JUN 30, 2013

Draught @ [ Birre Sotte L’Albero 2012 ]
@ Open Baladin Roma, Via degli Specchi 6, Roma, Italy 00186.
ABV: 9.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, licorice, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Pours dark amber with golden hues. Nose has citrus, mint, pine tree and some nice barnyard smells. Taste is immediately sweet but gives way to great balance of sweet and bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and tangy. This is a unique and delicious beer.

Tap @ Karhisma Birroteca (Piedimonte Matese - Caserta, Italy). Clear rusty and deep orange, red and ruby. Not so big head, but frothy and generates loads of bubbles. Aroma is full of raisins, figs, candy fruit and red orange, but not cloying or annoying. Just some little herbal notes. Body is light to medium with a very balanced carbonation; the tongue fizzles pleasantly, alcohol note is light, elegant, with a bitterness that of orange like a Gran Marnier that last and harshes SO long like a very thin line under your palate. Malt is not so persistent, but in this beer isn’t a fault. Maybe, deserve a little more aging since it’s REALLY young (40 days after casked), anyway I like it as well. Kashmir moves away from the classic Xmas beers: it isn’t full of spice, overwhelmed in carbonation, but pairs as well with a good Panettone. Another original creation by Buskers team. Well done! 30/12/2011 750ml bottle.
