Black color with a fine beige head. Ok lacing down the sides of the glass. Looks good. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Coffee, roast, some spices (cinnamon) and chocolate in the flavor.Travlr (26134) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 10, 2014
[On tap at Bøker og Børst in Stavanger, Norway]
Draft at the source. Dark clear maroon brown color. Aroma of dusty cocoa. Taste is porter first, gourd in the background. Very nice. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, allspice, and roasted malt. Pours a bat's ass black with a espresso hued head and no lacing. The taste is pumpkin, cinnamon, allspice, and roasted malt. Full body and medium carbonation. This was a wonderful, robust pumpkin porter.

On tap at the Quarry Hofbrau at the Rim. Black pour with a tan head. The aroma and flavor are nice. I get some heavy chocolate and roasted malt as well as a bit of cinnamon. I don’t get any pumpkin notes. The beer is a bit boozy. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. brewballs (215) - USA - OCT 26, 2013
Most excellent beer. I had this brew at their tap room. Soft head. Billowy lace on your glass. You can taste the pumpkin but it’s not overbearing. Sweet but still has a bitter edge to it. Smooth wash down. Absolutely drinkable and delicious. Overall a very solid even in an over inundated pumpkin brew market as of late.
