(Butcher’s Tears Archimedes Q) At MOut Bierfestival, Nijjmegen.
Black coloured body, two fingers of thick, beige head, very good retention and heavy lacing left behind.
Aroma of sour fruits, vinegar, cork, old wood.
Taste has roasted malts, sour red fruits, cork, old moldy wood.
Medium body with soft carbonation.
I haven’t written down if it was from the tap or from a bottle but although still drinkable with some effort, this seems to have been infected.

Vom Fass im Brauhaus. Schwarzes Bier, schöner fester beiger Schaum. Spannendes Aroma! Rum, Muskatnuss, etwas Schokolade. Sanfter Rauch. Säuerlich-bitter im Antrunk. Kaffee, Holz, wenig Süsse. Langer Abgang.
