[ As Butchers Tears Megaera ].
Clear medium orange color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, nutty, grass, leather, funky. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry, leather, brett, fruity, sweet malt - fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is lively - fizzy.
(Butcher’s Tears Megaera) Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip, ABV 6%
Orange coloured body with a huge and quite thick off-white head. Good retention, mostly because of size. Spots of lacing on the glass.
Light perfume on the aroma and very nutty, some apricot too.
Taste is also nutty, some yeast, light fruity notes.
Medium thin body, high carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy amber with a huge off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Very high carbonation. 160115 erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JAN 9, 2015
Hugely foamy head. Classic and modern hops, spruce, caramel malts (but soft). Spritzy. Yeast is a bit fruity perhaps. Very foamy mouth feel, but I don’t mind. Nice Belgian ale. (33cl bottle from SpeciaalBierPakket Leiden) zvikar (6264) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - DEC 29, 2014
