33 cl bottle @ home. Ruby color, hazy. Big, dense off white head with long retention. Strong aroma’s of red/sweet fruit, (rasp-?/straw-?)berries. Retronasal there’s still fruit, but also some caramel and hops. Flavor is medium bitter with a malty sweet backbone. Medium bodied. Finishes roasted and quite bitter. Nice enough, but the fruit aroma was a bit off. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAY 15, 2013
Hazy amber body with creamy off white head. Fruity aroma, Belgian yeast, red berries, bready, starberry yoghurt and cookies. Simple yet flavourful body, starting fruity and ending with a light bitterness. Pretty tasty, well made. Classic style with a modern twist. Low key, though. Nice. (33cl bottle traded with Rob, thanks!) kermis (12869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 23, 2013

Almost IPAy in floral notes and slight bitterness. Muddy finish which isn’t too great. Not sure why this is mentioned as a Heller Bock. Good beer though, as are all from Butcher’s Tears.
Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht.

Bottle provided by Borresteijn. Thanks! Pours hazy amber with a creamy off white head the aroma is grassy and malty with notes of hay and fruit. The flavor is sweet fruit, hay, malt, bittering hops and has a dry hoppy finish. Great balance. Very interesting and highly drinkable.

Tap @ Utrechts Lentebier. Bit cloudy orange golden color, short frothy head. Served pretty cold, but still I could get quite some fruity hops and biscuity malts. Quite bitter taste, again the biscuity malt. Almost like a decent malty IPA. Like! Borresteijn (6965) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - APR 4, 2013

Flavour is medium sweet, malty, floral, cookies, loads of tropical fruits, nice and hoppy, firm bitter finish. Medium-bodied, slick mouthfeel. Thoroughly enjoyable.
