2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask @ The Willow Walk. The pour’s medium amber with a small bubbly white head. The nose is of golden delicious apple, some honey, bucolic straw. The taste is is sweet apple sauce, summer fruits. Plenty of sugary white bread. Mild grassy finish. The body’s watery, light. Overall, nothing special here.
Bottle from Morrisons Harwich. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody, light fruit, light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. ManVsBeer (10795) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2017
Bottle from Aldi, Keighley. Golden-amber with no head. Fruity in both its nose and taste, with citrus and some orange evident, but not overly stated allowing a bitterness through in the latter, and a hint of toffee in the former. steveddy (26) - Chichester, West Sussex, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2017
Pours nicely, initial fluffy head disapates. Pale amber. Soft carbonation, initial light malty flavour and subtle hopes. Nicely balanced UK style pale ale. Mjp12 (1918) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2017
Rather bland in all aspects I’m afraid. Some grassy hops, hints of malt and hop on the flavour, but lacking any real character. SarkyNorthener (4709) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2017

Bottle from Aldi and drunk at home. Clear amber brown colour lasting beige head. Yes decent enough bitter. I’ve had half a dozen of these bitters now and they are all absolutely fine. Good carbonation, fresh tasting, good hops, balanced, Sweetish malt. Some citrus hops. Decent. foxo82 (917) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2017
Bottle. An enjoyable, inoffensive, ginger-coloured thing, much like the man himself. Tastes stronger than the ABV. redders1974 (1546) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2017

Bottle. Pours a clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malts, some hedgerow fruit, slight herbs, a hint of honey and subtle earthy hops. Taste of hedgerow fruits, some bready malts, slight honey, a hint of orange and subtle earthy, herbal hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, dryish, earthy hop bitterness in the finish. A pleasant, easy drinking beer, slightly better than my cask experience.
