redish amber, whispy head, slightly sweet fruity aroma, creamy body, cranberry flavor well balanced with the malt and light bitterness,
Aroma: 5/10; Appearance: 6/10; Flavor: 6/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 9/20
22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy brown color with monstrous cream-colored head. Smells like cranberry juice with that acidic vomit-like aroma that I really despise in a lot of beers. Tastes like sweet malts and cranberry juice. What else do I really need to say? Not good, at all. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2007
Had during Christmas while palying Madden. Forgot to rate. Aroma of malt and some sour cranberry. Poured gold more or less. Flavor was mostly a boring malt flavor followed by a sour cranberry flavor. Was kind of dull on the palate. Not the best beer by any means. Did not really enjoy. Carl99Fan (187) - Suwanee, Georgia, USA - MAY 4, 2007
From 650ml bottle..pours with thick white head that dissipates quickly. Fruity aroma....butterscotch color. Slight cranberry taste with somewhat tinny flavor. Not bad....good session beer. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 11, 2007
22oz bottle acquired in trade with Saarlander (as part of the Mystery Swap v2.0). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a huge, huge sized off white head. Aromas of cranberries, light caramel and a perfume. Tastes of mainly tart cranberries. Not too much going on with this beer and the cranberries where a little on the artificial side.

Small, soapy head. Slightly cloudy ambered hue. Smells faintly of sweet fruits (cranbeeries) and a bit of corn. Tastes less of cranberries, more of cereal and with a slightly funky-sweet finish. Crisp mouth feel. Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 23, 2007
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2008 22 oz bottle from BevMo La Mesa. Pours a hazy copper color........aroma of sweet berries........cran.....razz......maybe even some black berry. bhensonb (15355) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 7, 2007
The aroma is sweet cranberry. Or it is cranberry and raspberry. It is sweet berry. A luminescent apricot amber color with a decent white head. Starts berry sweet, and a bit thin. The bitter cranberry competes with what might be hop. In the event it finishes interestingly bitter. Not an ideal match for hot salsa. My bad. It’s really good though. So I am off the average - way off. My good. SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 3, 2007
22 oz. bottle from BevMo. Pours a bright reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is primarily of sweet malts, with tart cranberries and floral hoppiness also evident. Flavor seems like a decent amber - toasty and litghtly caramelly malts with tart fruits and a bit of spice in the hop finish. Medium body and gentle carbonation. A drinkable holiday ale, but not outstanding in any way. trokini (1025) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 18, 2006
Pours red with a decent white head. Aroma has some cranberry, too bad the taste does not. Mostly a watered-down pale with some earthiness. Disappointed.
