Pours an attractive red color with a thick and fluffy white head. Aroma hints at cranberry and not much else. What you have here is a basic pale ale with hints of cranberry that’s enjoyable enough to drink. Sort of yeasty flavor in the background. Nothing exceptional but not a bad drink. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - OCT 13, 2006
$1.99 markdown!!! orange amber. very fizzy tan head. kinda tangy. very malt. smells like paint thinner. very dry finish. cranberry?? SSSteve (4006) - - AUG 19, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2006 hazy amber. huge long lasting soapy head. apple juice and some cranberry in aroma. hints of candy caramel as well. very juicy and soda-like. cranberry retains its tartness in the beer and is noticeable in the flavor. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - AUG 4, 2006
22oz Bottle: Amber mahogany color, light ruby notes. The nose is a bit fruity but comes across more as just a slightly infected amber with that green apple nose, but you can tell it’s a light fruit. The flavor is a bit malty with an average body. Not that great of a base beer let alone adding fruit to it. It’s like the same concept as giving you potpouri spray for after a deuce. You’re just mixing something with something already bad, so it’s worse. SDalkoholic (2386) - Linda Vista, California, USA - JUL 19, 2006
Has a soapy aroma with a small trace of fruit in there as well. Flavor has started to fall apart and is nothing but a average ale with faded artifical fruit flavor. Might have been nice if i had found a bottle of this when it was fresh on the shelf.

On the lighter side for a christmas ale, light hints of cranberry, still an ok beer, just weak for a christmas beer! Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 9, 2006
Light amber with no head. A bit of cranberry aroma and not a whole lot else. The flavour is a bit muddy tasting, with hints of cranberry. Lacking. IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - FEB 28, 2006
A nice red amber color with a thin white head. looks like a Christmas ale, but its weak fruity aroma and sweet cranberry taste left me looking for some pumpkin ale. Enniskillen (2051) - Bakersfield, California, USA - FEB 28, 2006
cranberry jelly, vanilla, a1 sauce, gummy bears. No head, amber body. Taste is just off... like the water from shrimp and junk. Odeed (1803) - Bakersfield, California, USA - FEB 27, 2006
