2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Boring, little flavor. Generic. Garbage. Indistinct. Not worth your time. Unmemorable. Nothing Interesting.

I got this can in a trade with Vermonthiker. Thanks Tom!
It pours a cloudy yellow orange with a 1 finger head of foam. The foam settles to a fine broken layer after a few minutes but there *is* some fine lacing.
The smell has good notes of wheat, banana, and citrus. Overall, I get a sweetish smell.
The taste is pretty yummy. Wheat and banana are the first flavours I notice but then some biscuit and a hop lemon zing in the background get noticed more. The finish highlights the biscuit and makes for a brief aftertaste.
Light bodied, I think this is a pretty good Hefeweizen and it comes in a can! Man, I'd drink plenty of this during the sumer season if it were available locally. Good stuff! yespr (48931) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2017
12 fl oz can. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is estry. Slight herbal. Banana and slight metallic. Dry estery finish. mabuzzer (957) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - JUL 8, 2017
12oz can. Hazy golden colour with an OK white head. Very sweet, almost artificial, banana aroma that followed through to the flavour with some caramel thrown in for good measure. Far from great. Larry_Duffman (618) - - MAY 29, 2017
I poured it from the can into a glass. It pours acloudy with a head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is banana and spice. The taste is banana, spice, lemon, and yeast. It’s highly carbonated and refreshing. It’s a little heavier on the spice than usual. This is pretty good. JPDIPSO (6298) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAR 31, 2017
Cloudy light golden color with a tall, off-white head. Dry wheat and hints of yeast, bananas and lemon zest. Feel is a bit thick and flat. Light sweet wheat, followed by some floral hops, touch of acidity. 7/12

So German hefs in the us are cardboard, but this! This is perfection!! Or so they say.
Thin and herbal, with an almost fake bubble gum banana thing going on. Still watery finish. willisread (3803) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 19, 2016
Can shared. Pours a thin, gold with 2 fingers of shampoo-like foam that lingers. Bubblegum forward nose. Light and easy drinking but quite thin and watery for a hefe. Really missing that creamy palate. More artificial sweet bubblegum and herbal elements on the finish. dwyerpg (6498) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - DEC 14, 2016
Tons of banana in this, from the aroma to the last sip. On the wheat heavy side but still pleasant. Worthy of a higher average score, imo. tfontana (1185) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 29, 2016
Can pour from Cigarette City. Appearance is lightly hazy pale yellow with greenish tinge, effervescent sparkle with 3-finger width fizzy/foamy head with excellent retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is mild citrus, fruit, alongside yeast, vague metallic scent. Taste is strong citrus and banana, light clove. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with watery texture, lively carbonation and lightly sweet and tart finish. Overall, I was expecting a disaster based on low ratings but this was decently average--certainly not unpleasant. chinchill (5383) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Butternuts Heinniewiesse Farmhouse ale
12oz. can served in pint glass (from 2010 notes)
A - mildly cloudy light golden with moderate white head
T - moderate strength for style. Yeast, grain, ripe banana and lemony citrus. Balancing sour and sweet components. Good but subtle aftertaste
Aroma - weissbier with yeast, citrus and noticeable hops. Not inviting.
M - light; smooth.
Overall: easy drinking. Good thirst quencher. Neither bold nor complex. Not recommended for those who do not like a strong citrus component
