6/10/16 bottle at home. Looks like a golden ale and I suppose it is. But there's more to it than that. Much like a light old-fashioned downland bitter. Nice balance of malt and hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Waitrose in Witney. Pours deep golden with a good creamy head. The taste is citrus with light spice and some biscuity malt undertones. Nice enough without being anything out of the ordinary.

Cask at The Bell in Waltham st Lawrence. Pale golden with a lasting white head. Well balanced beer with zesty lemon lime citrus.

Decent golden fruity session beer. Almost pils on the nose but great zesty taste, hint of pear and plenty bitter orange/ lemon. I’d drink this over lager any day.

jjsint (3095) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2013
Bottle at home. Dark gold, almost orange. No head, reasonable carbonation. Aroma of yeast and grassy hops, with a bit of lemon. Taste is initially sweet with some light salt /umami notes. Finish is slightly more bitter. A nice beer with a simple profile, not quite as good as I remember.

500ml bottle. Clear orangey dark golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally grainy and strawy aroma, fruity notes of gooseberry and other pale berries. Taste is minimally grainy, slightly bitter hoppy overtones, minimally sweet fruity touch of pale berries.

Bottle. Pours a dark orange colour with a thin white head. Malty and fruity aroma, the taste is all fruit, then has a bitter dry finish.
