COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gooseberry Sour IPA.
Trolltunga is a jutting rock in Norway, hanging 700 metres over lake Ringedalsvatnet. Only the wary tread the path to the very edge. This beer was brewed to celebrate friendship and a love of wild places.
A collaboration with Lervig Aktiebryggeri from Stavanger, Norway.

Bottled 330ml. -at Sir Williams Ljubljana. Unclear pale golden coloured, small white head, sourish citrusy nose. Acidic citrusy, light hoppy, notes of gooseberry and sourish finish. Pleasant but it seems like something is missing here.

Cloudy straw colour. Tropical fruit aroma. Sour and fruity in tastes. Not as much fruitiness in taste as in aroma.

Bottle 330 ml from HonestBrew. Aromas are sweet of tropical fruit. White head and hazy golden body. Taste is obviously sour with malts and fruitiness which reminds me of lychee. I don't usually like sours and this is not a favorite either but it was better than I expected.

bottle at home. Pours golden, clear, little head. Fruity and very acidic aroma, floral hops aroma is nicely noticeable even though the sour aromas are rather strong. Nice mouthfeel, sour, funky, nice carbonation. Medium body. Flavour has a great balance, malty flavours give a nice base, with a lot of sourness and tartness coming through. Hops is especially prominent in the finish, giving the beer a nice fruity/citrusy as well as herbal and earthy touch. Very enjoyable sour IPA, gooseberries come through in the tartness, I can't taste them as such though.

Pours a light yellow/amber with a white head. Aroma is strong tart berry. Taste is very tart/sour, increasing over time, leading to a slight hoppy middle, ending malty and sour that lingers for good while. Medium carbonation, medium-thin bodied. Very nice! Certainly delivers on the sour side of things!

Świetny, świeży aromat, tytułowy agrest, słodycz cytrusów i owoców tropikalnych, choinki. Bardzo sesyjne, lekkie w odbiorze, ale nie wodniste. Lekko słodkie, owocowe na początku. Z czasem kwaśne, goryczka średnia, krótka z odświeżającym finiszem. Dobre!

Bottle. Clear golden beer with minimal white head. Aroma of gooseberry, flowers, lime, lemon, with notes of earth and basement. Taste is light to medium sour and bitter, of gooseberry, flowers, lemon and lime. Sour, fruity finish. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Decent and quite distinctive.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Delicious, fresh hops in the notes, piney and dank with a tartness to it. Medium body, lemony tartness and great, fresh aroma hops throughout. I don't get any impact of the gooseberries at all but it's actually a very well made Sour IPA. 181017
