Bottle. Pours an onyx black body with a large creamy beige head, looking kinda glorious to be honest. Aroma is cocoa, dark chocolate, burnt toast, charcoal and hints of caramel, coffee, toffee and smoke. Taste is burnt sugar, charcoal, cocoa, dark chocolate, dry chalky tones, smoke and hints of caramel, toffee and dry resinous notes in the back. Full, creamy body, medium carbonation. Far to dry and chalky for me, with the bitterness levels way up. Still, a very tasty and rich beer, with a pleasant mouthfeel which helps along the way.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro, again! Black with brown head. Super dark beer. Massive coffee and roasted malts, burnt toast, some toffee and red berries. Massive, massive roast in this one. This some fruits but mostly deep black notes. Ink and oil. Medium sweet with lasting roasted bitterness and a light tart touch. Over medium bodied. Very extreme but its pretty good.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely brown head. A bit like a mocha. Nose - tar and salted liquorice. Burnt wood. Taste - dry liquorice, molasses and smoke. Palate - medium to full bodied with a dry crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - engaging my brain but not my heart.
