330ml bottle chilled. Really surprised at how bad this looks, like puddle water, no head at all. Almost zero carbonation which I don’t think suits the style at all. The result is a sickliness to what could be a really decent beer.

33cl, as Collaboration Carnage, new exclusive Danish collab. brew Anno 2013, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex bitter brew, heavily bitter/fruity and slightly floral/woody, heavy, yet balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, good brew, yet expensive

Tap (Pudel, Tallinn)
Deep orange, small ring head. Sweet juicy fruity aroma, toffee and caramel sweetness. Full palate, sweet, verging on sticky. Kinda had this a hundred times, a cookie-cutter modern Danish IPA. However it’s the 100 good IPAs, not the hundred meh ones or the 100 bad ones. Sweet toffeeish caramel, fruity hops, nice bitter component too, a little earthy in places. Finish quie simple, just a continuation of the taste, but that’s nice. Drinkability very high indeed. Good one.

Cold bottle, bottled Aug 2013. Pours a cloudy orange with no head whatsoever even when forced. Smell….Centennial hops - orange, rosewater. Body is medium and carbonation is low. Taste is orange rind, starburst sweets. Juicy sweet IPA with a bitter finish. Quite nice overall but it’s not setting itself apart. Centennial always seems to overpower everything else.

Bottle. Cloudy amber color with an off-white head with long duration and good lacing. Aroma has resins, pine and citrus notes with a good maltiness. Flavor is malty, slight caramel, notes of peach, citrus, orange and grapefruit. The final has a decent bitterness with good duration.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is zesty, yeast, citrus and grass. Taste is quite bitter and light sweet. Some farmyard taste aswell, maybe saison-ish. Medium body with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle, pours murky orange brown with some yeast floater and no head and just a few soapy bubbles. Aroma is light caramel with lime and orange peel, tea tanins, very dry with some alcohol kick. Not a lot of carbonation, almost flat. That said, I enjoyed it more after I got over the initial let down, quite suppable really and pleasant lingering fruity taste. Not quite what I was expecting from an IPA.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness bottle shop, York. Deary me, this is an ugly beer! Chicken gravy, anyone? Aroma is overripe satsuma. There’s some treacle toffee. And then some oily, petrol type thing going off... Taste and palate is slick and oily. Shortish, dry finish. I was hoping for a lot better.
