Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Ale. Now hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

Shared at the August THT. Pours a hazy golden yellow, white head. Citra-forward, tropical, fresh. Very clean and refreshing.

THT August at Kwartje. Sampled from growler. Slightly unclear golden with white head. Sweet malts, big citrus, grassy and weedy hops. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Drank 31-07-17 while watching GoT. This IPA has a full body. The beginning is a bit malty, neutral, a bit orange. Taste continues quite bitter, especially the aftertaste. Not that fresh and a bit too bitter for me.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 Nice sweet Ipa, hoppy herbal nose, golden and hazy, herbaceous and resinous flavours, thin note of citrus and grapefruit. medium body sweet ending with medium bitterness...

Keg tap at the Maypole, Cambridge. Deep gold, hazy with a light white head. Ambrosial hop aroma with lots of pine and lemongrass. The taste is not so good. Too hot and boozy at first which for 6.8% isn’t great, but I get used to it after the initial sips. Bittersweet finish with lovely soft carbonation. There are issues which keep it from being a top IPA but was enjoyable overall.

ruigo (3073) - PORTUGAL - JUL 19, 2017
33cl bottle. Almost clear light copper with a small white head. Zest, pine and tropical fruit. Good.

Yorker (2007) - Herning, DENMARK - JUL 8, 2017
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy golden with a white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma and flavour are citrus, caramel, and pine - with a bitter finish.

Now this is how IPAS/pale ales should be :) lots of flavour, orange with a slight grassy overtone. Lovely drink!

330ml bottle from Brewdog.com (£3.00):
Another really enjoyable beer from Buxton & very much on par with their Ace Edge offering, although this one definitely seemed more balanced & easy to drink. The beer looked fantastic after I poured it & there was a lot of early citrus & pine coming through to get you interested from the start. I liked the touches of sweetness & the tropical flavours were nice but I’d have liked to see more of the later when it came to the nose. Overall it’s a great beer from the brewery & one that I’d happily go back to again at some point in the future.
