Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Ale. Now hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

330ml bottle from Brewdog.com (£3.00):
Another really enjoyable beer from Buxton & very much on par with their Ace Edge offering, although this one definitely seemed more balanced & easy to drink. The beer looked fantastic after I poured it & there was a lot of early citrus & pine coming through to get you interested from the start. I liked the touches of sweetness & the tropical flavours were nice but I’d have liked to see more of the later when it came to the nose. Overall it’s a great beer from the brewery & one that I’d happily go back to again at some point in the future.

Delicously sweet and floral aroma. Fills a glass with a cloudy orange colour and frothy pale head with great lacing on glass. Sweet oranges and light bitter floral hops upfront. Nice lingering biterness too. Good subtle ying and yang. Easy drinking.

Color dorado anaranjado, ligeramente turbio, con capa de espuma blanca de tres dedos de grosor (buena retención). Carbonatación media. Textura acuosa y ligeramente chispeante. Aroma a malta caramelizada, humedad, resina.

Pours amber with a decent white head. Malt and pine on the nose with some citrus rind. Orange, pine and grain finish sharp and bitter. Nice.

330 ml bottle. Bottled October 2016. Pours semi-clear copper with thin white head. Nose is pine, orange peel, mango. Taste is medium bitter and follows the nose. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Average carbonation. A not-so-fresh IPA, so the hop profile is quite mellowed out.

Hazy amber, white head. Not a huge amount going on in the smell, just some bitter hop. Taste is very dry, very bitter. Tropical, citric fruit. Pine resin. Grass. Sharp, dry and refreshing. Airy pine in the aftertaste.

330ml bottle picked up at BrewDog Cardiff and shared with Finn on a Great Western Train to London. Clear amber coloured body, lasting pearl white head leaving clingy lacing behind. Hop fruity nose, citrus-driven. Succulent fruity taste of orange, grapefruit and mango joined by subdued malty sweetness. Smooth fruity bitterness to the ending. Oily palate and with fine depth. Enjoying. (04.05.2017).

Navers (103) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 25, 2017
Bottle from Valhalla’s Goat, Glasgow. Beer served in 10°C, Duvel Glass. Pours bright golden, slightly hazy, nice and big head. Aroma is tropical, maracuja, mango, pineapple, dragon fruit, papaya, floral, orange. Flavor is grassy, resin, grapefruit, herbal, earthy, fruity with very intense, pine bitterness. Palate is wrecked by juicy bitterness after every sip and hoppy taste last really long. Very solid beer.

Grumbo (2824) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2017
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber/gold with an average sized off-white head. Aroma is well hopped, floral and fruity, caramel, malt, and citrus orange, tropical fruit and very subtle grapefruit. Medium plus sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Excellent.
