Euston Tap. Keg. 6.8% abv. Pretty hazy gold beer with a small white head. Wonderful nose of Motueka like floralness with a touch of citrus. The palate is smooth with a light fine carbonation. The malt is sweet and creamy and does a lovely job of supporting fantastic NZ hops. Rich and sweet floralness kept in check by light orange and tropical fruits. The malt doesn’t let go though and provides a smooth finish that is punctuated by crisp nip. This is fantastic. A beer has to be very good indeed for me to order a second one. Well I drank another three of these and was sad when I had to leave because they were closing down!

LCBF. Hazy yellow, small white head. Smells hoppy, maybe some lemon. Body and carbonation are medium. Taste - slight caramel, lychee/gooseberry, nice level of bitterness. Maybe a bit underdone, but it’s a nice beer.

Backlog rating. Keg at Euston Tap, London. Pours a clear golden colour with a big white head. Long lasting foam and lot of carbonation streming off the bottom of the glass. Aroma is hop forward on the fruity side, with pineapple and citrus. Taste is similarly fruity but not overly bitter. Grapefruit and peaches with a touch of acidic note in the finish. Medium mouthfeel and well carbonated. Nice and refreshing.

Garrold (5606) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2013
Keg at Leeds International Beer Festival. Hazy gold. Thick, white head. Aroma is ripe peach and pine hoppiness. I’m typing this the day after tasting and my mouth is watering thinking about it! Full bodied and slightly oily mouthfeel. Feels very well balanced and the hops aren’t mouth stripping. I want more!
