Donkerrood/kastanjebruin van kleur met compacte off-white schuimkraag die redelijk snel inzakt tot fijn laagje. Pruimen, dadels, kersen en ander rood fruit, hint caramel, rozijntjes. Licht plakkerig, tikje zoet. Wel héél smaakvol met mild bittere afdronk. Super quadrupel

Dark brown to black colored, medium beige head, not very lasting. Aroma is of some malt and brewing sugar, some caramel, toffee, strong dark fruits, bit vinous-port, some alcohol, bit spices. Taste is very sweet malt and brewing sugar, some caramel and toffee, plenty of dark fruit, bit vinous, some spices, medium- bitterness, some alcohol and warmth, mostly well hidden. Full bodied, soft carbonation, thick.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky medium brown with a broken off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, Belgian yeast, toffee, caramel, alcohol. The flavour is strong sweet with a smooth, rich, sweet, toffee apple, burnt treacle, warm alcohol palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A super sweet heart warmer.

Drank 04-07-17 while writing. Typical rye-ish quadruple taste. Not that sweet in the beginning, but definitely in the end. Nice.

Draft. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex dark fruit and alcohol aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy dark sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations were exceeded with a solid brew.
