COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
2016 version. A brooding, heavyweight stout, crammed with intense, deep-roast specialty malts. A recipe 8 months in the making with multiple edits before we were happy to proceed, in the end it was a delight to brew.

Beautiful dark color. Boozy aroma, boozy taste. Bitter and very hard. Roasted but too hard for me.

Appearance - like Cigar city's Zhukov. Black head. Aroma - soapy, thyme, sirupy, malty, hoppy, piny, fruity, winy, meal note. The beer is heavy in total. BITTER!!! After taste - VERY BITTER!!! The beer is so much bitter, that you can even think it is boozy, but it is not so. No sweetness at all! I do not like hops in Imperial stout. Not balanced, not smooth. Really hard to be drunk. Decent.

At a tasting, many thanks, smallish head, opaque black color, lots of dark chocolate with bourbon and vanila notes in aroma, intense chocolate in flavor with dark fruits and a hint of ash, sweet but not heavy with a light sour note, highly perfumed. Very nice and enjoyable.

Bottle 0,33L. Black color with small, creamy, light brown head that sits down to the crown fast. Strong coffee and dark chocolate dominate in aroma. There are some roasted malts in the background, too. Taste is medium to heavy bitter with a lot of bitter dark chocolate. Can’t find any alcohol in aroma, neither in taste, although it has 10% ABV. Excellent beer!
