Bottle from Rehills of Jesmond, Newcastle. Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head. Pleasant mild tropical aroma. The tast is very nicely fruity with more tropical notes before a bitter finish with some bready notes. Really refreshing and very good. CacheManyHose (767) - HONG KONG - FEB 14, 2016
Drank w Matt alongside chorizo haloumi pancakes on Valentine's Day 2016. Bright orange-tan, creamy fizzy white head, minimal spotty legs. Smells of heavy orange and yeast, yeast that's very fruity/citric with light spice and farminess. Taste is similar but much more funky, and ends on bitter almost vegetal note. Body is medium, sweet and lightly tart apple juice, fizzy carbonation. Nice bright saison, yeastiness is fruity and fresh to complement the funkiness and bitterness towards the end.
