Bottle @ home, from De Molen.
Lovely smokey, peaty, flavourful porter. So many things going on, but very well balanced. Dry smoke prevails, can't fault it. Lovely. CraftBeerNick (2560) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2012
Bottle at home, 5th October 2012 tasty beer, licorice and smoke on the aroma, perfect palate, loads of smoke in the taste, smooth and fairly interesting. Charlieboy (62) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2012
Present for Christmas. Ugly dead flat pour, smells great, like islay whiskey, tastes the same, delicious beer. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - NOV 19, 2012
Cask @ Borefts. Best name ever. Aroma is big smoke, some iodine, ash, red fruits. Flavour is thick smoke, ash, liquorice and some spice. Very nice. Dommod2011 (706) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2013
At first it had the Frazzles smell going on but then the peat came through. Tastes like a porter with Islay whisky. Two favourites in one, works for me. Bring the noise.

Pours black, no head. Oily film. Aroma is wood smoke and salty smoked ham, and medicinal. Warming, and very long aftertaste. snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - FEB 15, 2013
Tasted from the bottle, on 15/02/2013.
Pours blackish brown with a tiny creamy head, which doesn't last for too long.
Aroma is mild, smoke and wooden coal prevail, with an iodine hint in the end.
Taste is a wonderful mix of roasted malts, all that peat/smoked/ashy/iodine stuff and, surprisingly, some citrusy american hops, lovely!
Carbonation is low, body is full, alcohol is well hidden.
Aftertaste is pure ash tone.
Not a big fan of smoked beers, but that one is definitely worth to try.

Bottle at home, thanks James! Dark brown pour, thin off-white head. Big salty, meaty, slightly sweaty smoke and roast on the nose, just a hint of soft roast barley too. Slightly sweet mocha/cocoa front, quickly matched with intense, slightly medicinal peat flavours. Soft creamy body, lightly bittersweet finish. Really well balanced. Bottle from Beer Ritz, tasted with Dan. Pours a pitch black, very little head. Aroma is peaty smoke, roasted malts, milky vanilla and a little bit of dark fruits. Taste is big smoke up front, with a nicely subtle peaty, whiskyish note. Roasted malts, mocha coffee and some dark fruitiness are there too. Medium body, average length finish. Not bad, but expected a bit more if Im honest. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2013
330ml from Beer Gonzo. Very deep ruby with a loose beige foam receding to a halo. Top smoked sausage, Chorizo, paprika, chipotle, smoked ham, background bramble aroma. Smoked ham, cheese, beechwood taste with soapy hop, blackcurrant and a bitter roasted finish. Pure Bamberg. And then some.
