TBone (19190) - Pori, - AUG 3, 2017
Bottled 330ml (Etre-Gourmet)
Almost opaque brown colour, small brownish head. Licorice, tar and peatyness in the nose. Full-bodied. Roasted, peaty, sweetish licorice. Smooth palate, oily, very sippable. Lingering roastyness and warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Reminds me about some Emelisse BAs. Quite similar and well-made. Super.

SarkyNorthener (5144) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2018

The flavour has peat, vanilla, roasted malt, earthy notes, wood, tobacco and mild iodine. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet and bitter. Long finish with peat. Well made.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2018 Opaque black beer with a slight dark brown head. Medium/heavy aroma; taste starts medium/heavy sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Caramel, wood, vanilla, chocolate, mocha, roasted malts and coffee. 8/5/9/5

Gerbeer (4354) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 5, 2018
330 ml bottle. Pours jet black with moderate tan head. Aromas of oaky whisky barrel, black coffee and roasted malts. Flavors of lively clean whiskey with a little peat, dark chocolate, dry black coffee, and slick roasted malts. A great tasty Arran iteration. Not overkill. Well done.

vincentvega72 (1037) - Terneuzen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 26, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2018 Puur zwart met compacte mokkakleurige schuimkraag die langzaamaan inzakt. Milde turf, rook, leer, tabak, barrel. Licht plakkerig in de mond met een zacht rokerige afdronk. Perfect in balans.

hrabren (2120) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 26, 2017
0.33 l bottle from Edinburgh. Shared at a drinking session with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran in the summer of 2017. Thanks a lot for bringing this all the way here! Black with a small brown head. Very strong aroma, brandy or whiskey, some whiskey barrel aroma and some fruits. Sweet with dryness from whiskey barrel developing. Medium body, alcohol hidden, lasting finish.
