Bottle. Aroma has bread, cereal, nuts, herbs, dough, skunky - a medley as expected. Pours amber gold with a white lace top. Clear. Taste medium sweetness, medium bitterness, salty, and a singular malty taste in the finish. Palate medium body, thick feel, soft carbonation, long finish. Not a Tripel drinker on a regular basis. Sometimes I have to stand upright for hours at a time.

Bottle. Nice aroma. Fruity, yeasty. Taste is good too, the best so far of the series, citrus in parts, big boozy kick, candy. Enjoyable.

Aroma is citrus, hops. Golden liquid with white head. Taste is lemon, alcohol, some herb I don’t know, malts. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Bitter aftertaste, reminds some other alcohol added here. I have had much better tripels than this. Not easy to drink.

Bra!

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Pours clear deep golden with a nice looking creamy white head. Mild malty and fruity aroma, some flowers and honey notes as well. Taste is light sweet malty, herbal weak harsh bitterness for balance, harmonic beer overall, nice tripel.

jmgreenuk (10005) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 10, 2017
Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malt, yeast, alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light, dry, crisp, sweet malty yeast, alcoholic bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A superb tripel and I’m not even a fan of the style, but this is a beer I would buy again. Showing the Belgians the way to go!
