33cl bottle from Beer Gonzo. It pours a clean rich golden cool with a large white head. Aroma is rich malty sweet light boozy with plenty of yeast esters banana and caramel. Taste is also rich and sweet with more drying yeast and water notes in the finish. Some caramel stone fruit grass banana and bubble gum. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, ok, bit boozy. Looks like I’m missing the point with the Buxton Belgian series so far

Bottle. Nose is dusty, herbal, hoppy, cloves, spice, grass, hey. Taste is herbal, yeast, sugar (but not overpowering) lemony, straw, grass, hint of funk, pears, hint of summer fruit, dry pithy orange bitter notes and marmalade in the finish. Mouthfeel is slick. A very pleasing triple which has a lovely dry finish, nose was a little muted for me however.

Leighton (23090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2016
Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Sugary bread in the nose, wheat, yeast, lemon rind, dough. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with rich pale bread, light alcohol, bitter grain husk, hay. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, more grainy pale bread, citrus fruits, dough. Tasty stuff.

Scopey (16528) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2016
Bottle thanks to Loin Cloth. It pours cloudy bright gold with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, bready, fruits, pear drops, apple, melon, sugared mice, candy and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, white grape, melon, apricot, nectarine, white bread, pear and icing sugar with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Pretty sweet. Not my sort of bier.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 17, 2016
Classically styled with golden and yellow fruit malts. High alcohol warmth dominates at first, then a warming golden malt, then a lasting bitterness. But at the same time I love the taste! (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
