Black colour, small brown head. Liquorice, some alcohol and mild nutty notes. Flavour is ashes, liquorice, some alcohol and mild rupe fruits. Strong and thick stuff.
Bottled at 137:ans, Södertälje. Really black, minimal beige head. Rich aroma of chocolate and licorice. Mid sweet, full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, leather, tar and darik chocolate. Long really bitter finish with peppery alcohol. Well made, albeit unadventurous American style Imperial Stout. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours an opaque pith black with a small light brown head. Roasty nose, somewhat rustic - clearly British hops! Rich body, heavy roast and tar, dark dried fruit, malty bitter finish. Rough but enjoyable. 150812 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2013
