Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. Quite a lot of orange on the nose, pine cones, some roses and citrus zest, with a pleasant maltyness in the back. The flavor has a fine bitterness to deal with the residual sweetness. Roses, orange zest and pine cones in the flavor, not much maltyness. A bit heavy on the carbonation, full-bodied and soft, semi-sweet. Lasting bitter and orangey finish. Nice indeed, but I end up with the feeling something’s missing. Can’t put my finger on it though. 140625

Pours a golden orange color with a white head. Really quite a dank nose. Tons of citrus and tropical fruits, some floral notes, and a nice pine aroma. A bit of bready malt sweetness, too. The flavor is a bit sweeter and more malt forward. But, there are still tons of hop flavors. Nice tropical fruit, grapefruit, floral hops, and a bit of pine bitterness.

500ml bottle (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Fest2013)
Very nice hoppy fruity aroam. Hazy deep straw, small light head. Rubber taste. After the plastic, the body deos show the aromatic nature of the hops. Some sugary taste too. Finish has more and more hop bitterness with every sip, until the whole mouth throbs with hops. Good IPA, but a little OTT.

Benzai (15625) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 10, 2014
Bottle shared by Erwin Van Moll @ Van Moll Brewpub. Very hazy yellow color, full sized quite quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is lightly malts, grapefruit, fruity hops, peach, mandarin, hops. Taste lightly malts, lots of hops, very fruity, light to moderately grapefruit, again mandarin and a slight touch of orangepeel. Medium body, firm carbonation. Absolutely lovely.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks tomer. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of fruity and slightly "green" hops and a bit of graininess. Grainy flavor with faint sweetness, fruity and "green" hops and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Refreshing.

Scopey (14778) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants. It pours hazy gold, with medium white head. The nose is fresh pine, strong passion fruit, grapefruit, orange, peach, honey and a hint of caramel sweetness. Wow this stuff smells amazing. The taste is zesty citrus, grapefruit, waxy lemon, sherbet, perfumed hop, resin and biscuit, with a long, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good balance. A great beer to celebrate IPA day with!

imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2012
Cask conditioned at Tap East Pub & Brewery, Stratford, London. Hazy greenish gold with white head. Here we go, straight into an elderflower type aroma and flavour, quite fruity, developing towards grapefruit and pineapple. Loads of bitterness and very hoppy. Great stuff.
