10oz can. Design of PR flag, barcode shaped like the island. Pours clear, yellow. White ring. Aroma of pale grains, straw. Very dry, crisp finish. Flavor of clean malts, fresh hops. Clean taste of hops, grassy with loads of barley malt. (3771) VoodooBear (49) - San Juan, PUERTO RICO - MAR 5, 2013
Presentation: 11 oz. can with the packaging date printed on the bottom. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.
App: Very clear yellow color. Develops a soapy, 1 finger head that disappears quickly. Leaves some nice lacing.
Smell: The smell is faint, and underwhelming. There’s mainly hints of malt, corn and grains in there.
Taste: It’s quite bland, but it balances the malt sweetness and hop bitterness well. It’s not unpleasant at all. There’s some grain in the background as well.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, as expected. Average carbonation. Smooth and a bit watery. Easy to drink.
Overall: As one would expect from an American light lager, nothing special. Just something very drinkable to chug down cold when eating something or when nothing else is available. As a beer, or even in it’s segment, this is a middle of the road brew, not terrible, but not particularly good either.

Just had to try this new Light Lager offering in Puerto Rico. Disappointing; created for the masse$. Big marketing effort focusing on national pride, but no pride at all in producing a quality product. solidfunk (9366) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Easily the worst beer of Puerto Rico. I drain poured this in favour of a Medalla Light - go figure. Tastes sour and wacky. Makes me think about bad life choices and such. Cheap though, if that’s your thang.
