Moderately bitter at first, with grapes and floral hops. Finish is rather bitter, with a mild fruity note, lasting bitter finish. Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 18/7/2016. Deep amber in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Aroma of red berries, hedgerow hops and earthy malts. Cask at The Railway, Putney. Clear amber orange, still, small foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is tangerine and cardboard. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Cask at the Princess of Wales, London. It pours amber with a small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet with notes of toffee, apricots, grains and grass. taste is medium sweet with toffee, licorice, citrus and hay. Light body and soft carbonation. Decent bitter

Cask conditioned handpump Oxford London 19/09/14. A brown beer with an off-white head. A sweet and fruity bitter. Served too warm not allowing flavour development. UPDATED: AUG 11, 2017 Re-rate on 11 Aug 2017. Cask at the Volunteers Arms, GBBF. Pours clear mid brown with a thin white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Not much taste. Bitter finish. Not as bad as below but still not great.
