Cask @ Botanist, Birmingham. Golden with a thin head. Has a stewed fruitiness in both its aroma and taste. malushky (138) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2016
On tap at Chesford Grange. Clear golden with not very long lasting white head. Nice delicate hoppy aroma of citrus. In taste a bit of citrus, hoppy bitterness and dough. Drinkable, but not really much going on. Very decent golden ale, recommended. Scrumpy369 (838) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 12, 2016
Bottle at home. Hazy straw colour, with a small white head and floating yeast. Nose is carott. Taste is low bitterness with also some carotty notes. Meh. SarkyNorthener (4673) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2016

of requests, Oldbury. Golden beer with small head and patchy lacing. Aroma of citrus and pale malts. Taste is citrus, some light grapefruit and a little touch of sweetness. Very good.
Not my favourite Byatts - but fine. Light amber colour, white head, light to medium body. Bit of citrus in there, nice enough malt balance, just nothing spectacular.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Three Fishes, Shrewsbury on 26th Jan 2015. Light golden body, clear and clean, on top a snow white topping of foam. Nice blend of aromas and flavours, mild citrus front but that bottoms out and mixes in with the light maltiness. An easy drinking beer which I would happily have again, it is not going to test your senses too greatly, but a very pleasant brew. jmgreenuk (9527) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - DEC 24, 2014
Bottle from Bernie’s Off License, Solihull. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast, spicy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth malt spicy yeast hop citrus palate and a lingering yeasty bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. gegwilson (3724) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2014
Cask in the Golden Cross, Bromsgrove. Golden with a white head. Bitter and citrusy. Light, refreshing, but a bit watery really. OK. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2012
UPDATED: APR 13, 2014 Cask conditioned handpump Lamplighter Northampton 29/08 A golden beer with a white head and lace. Soapy and citrussy. A biscuity side to the malt. Reasonably hoppy with nice hop flavours. A touch of sherbert. Tasty enough and should have been served cooler. Score 3.4leaparsons (10598) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2012

Cask, William Wygston, Wigston. Hazy pale gold with a bubbly foam. Aromas are melon, pineapple and grapefruit with base biscuit malts. Hints of loran honey with lemon. Flavours are very clean hops with mellow lemon and floral/spicy notes. Pithy bitterness on the finish with a dry aftertaste. Went down very quickly. Good.
