Rather light. Didn’t have too much of an offensive taste. Some hops but tempered with water. It didn’t seem too malty, but it was balanced, so I guess that there was some malts in there. Actually a good beer for drinking. I had this at Gay Pride in Chicago. Good for drinking a lot of. If you need just a six pack, and this only cost about $6, I’d suggest this. Better than the macros that you’d get, but at a good cost. fraternie (1033) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Pours a bit thin and watery for being an amber. Medium-bodied malt with very slight notes of caramel, this is smooth but lacking depth. Short finish. skipp107 (3) - Arizona, USA - JUN 21, 2010 does not count
Just thought I’d try this beer and was some what pleased. Drank it from the bottle it was very smooth and sweet. I am not sure it I would buy it again. popery (2231) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 11, 2010
Kinda bland for the style but not an awful beer. This beer pours a light golden amber color with a dissipating, fizzy white head. The aroma has some nice vinous and caramel malt notes. There’s not a huge amount of depth, but it’s better than some supposed Märzen. It’s sort of a white grape juice meets malt aroma. On the other hand, the flavor just seems simple and sweet. Carbonation is relatively low. It’s an ok beer but could use some more oomph. SSSteve (4006) - - APR 14, 2010
12oz bottle. malty aroma. gold under a creamy, off-white head. moderately sweet beer with malt dominating. light body. low-mod carbonation. a bit sweet and pruney. not bad though.

Poured a light copper orange. Aroma of sweet biscuits right out of the oven. Hints of citrus zest. Little to no head when poured. Taste of biscuits and fresh bread. great finish and very refreshing. A spring to summer beer. hayduke (5752) - Eureka, California, USA - NOV 25, 2009
Sadly I picked up a whole six pack of this Small Batch 00014 from BevMo. It poured out of the 12 oz bottle the color of apple juice with a small white head that was gone in seconds. Very light body and mouthfeel, but smooth. The nose is caramel malts,. The flavor is the same caramel malts and the finish is dry, A very lackluster beer with little to recommend it. Not quite the Cable Car beer I would like to try, but sometimes you just drink what you got. BevMo has this and the blonde on sale, so I figured what the hell.

The beer pours out a clear, rusty brown color with a smaller sized 1/2" white head. Aroma is light caramel, a touch of apple juice and musty hay. Flavor is a bit better than the aroma. Sweet caramel malts are pretty underwhelming, metal and some light bread round out the flavor. Seemed watery and spritzy like a mineral water. Nothing to see here.
Pours like clear apple juice with a small fizzy white head that goes away quickly. The aroma is all sweet, almost like a lager, with dusty malts and fresh cut apple. The flavor is similar but adds a fair amount of sour bite in addition to a dry finish. High carbonation and thin body. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - SEP 11, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2011 Pours a see through amber color with minimal foam. A very airy and light amber ale. Decent hints of caramel but taste of high carbonation. Overall a tasty drinkable beer. A favorite of mine from my favorite style of Amber Ale.
