Nothing special, just an average lager. This was a perfectly fine run-of-the-mill beer. Better than mass produced... but, etc. but nothing more. Good for a party/bbq and fairly cheap. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - MAR 17, 2011
[Bottle] Pours a light shade of yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of cheap malts, cardboard and sweet grass. The taste is of corn syrup, adjuncts, cooked vegetables, heavy oxidation/paper, straw and mild cereal grains. Very thin and watery. Dirty palate to say the least. From start to finish, this beer was very unappealing. skibumphishead (259) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 11, 2011
picked up a six pack of this at a package store in West Palm beach. It tasted like bud light and nothing more. In this case, small batch = small flavor. I will not try any of their other offerings. Headbanger (4020) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 3, 2011
12oz bottle 3/3/11 Batch 00073 (Whole Foods-Naperville)-52° in English Pint. Pours a clear golden with a two finger white head. Aroma of corn, malt, and sweetness. Taste of the same with a bit of hops on the back end. This light bodied brew is pretty basic. Zymurgeist2 (2327) - Redwood City, California, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Pale yellow with not much head. Lots of cooked corn here. Not a bad offering for a lager but a lot of flaws.

18-Aug-09 (12-oz bottle: BevMo in Solana Beach, CA) "Batch 00073" pours golden in color with very good clarity and a small, white head that fades away to a thin ring, leaving no lacing. Several streams of carbonation bubbles rise slowly toward the surface. Aromas of bread, paper, cheese and sweet honey aren’t very inviting, but the beer smells worse than it tastes. Lots of retronasal aromas of cardboard and adjuncts, but if you hold your nose, the cardboard can’t be tasted as much. Instead, it’s mostly just dry, cereal flavor and a trace of hops so far in the background that it barely registers on the palate. Light in body, medium in carbonation, but without the hops flavor or bitterness, the beer lacks a refreshing quality. Overall, not a very good beer, about on par with a macro. Frankly, it’s insulting that they market this garbage as a small batch microbrew. Was there even a Batch 00072? SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - JAN 8, 2011
Clear gold pour with foamy head. Aroma of grain, malt and hops. Similar flavor. Not bad, but not a lot going on. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2010
Batch 0073. Pours a clear, clean, golden color with a modest white head that fades quickly. Nose has a very sweet grainy note, mild lemon and a low grassy presence late. Flavor has a pretty odd flavor. I can taste a strong vegetable presence with a low celery note being the most predominate. A low amount of toasted malt also come through early and in the middle but seems to complicate the more simplistic flavors generally found in a pale lager. Body is light and fizzy as it should be. Overall aroma isn’t too bad but the flavor just doesn’t work for me one bit. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 22, 2010
Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw color with a thin frothy white head. Aroma of sour grains, stale, lightly metallic. Flavor follows, stale, lightly sweet, dusty, thin, rice. Body is thin, corse soda carbonation. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - SEP 9, 2010
Bottle pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Light scent. Taste is typical lager. Easy drinker.
