Beer pours a light yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly malty and grainy. Falvor is slightly sweet intitially but finishes with some bitterness and dry. Not an offensive beer just fairly bland. Suggest you drink it cold with lime on a hot summer day. Chips and salsa also a must.

Yeah, this WAS my idea, I'll take responsibility for it. OK, here it goes. Pours straw colored, not colorful, more clear than yellow. Light fizzy head that dissapears quick. Flavor is lightly malty with spoiled hops and skunk, with a beer this clear I think a fire fly would skunk it. Flavor is bland, tastless, acrid. Finish is horrible, makes me wish I was a holocaust victim. I won't try this again. Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 30, 2003
This was Buck_Dich's idea. Pours very pale yellow, nearing waterlike appearance. The agressive pour left a mighty head, then I happened to blink and it was gone. The aroma smacked me in the face from about three feet away. Acrid odor of malt gone bad. Sharp malts in the flavor, my stomach doesn't like it much. A rush of bitter hops at the end. Not the good kind of hops either. Overall, it's a beer that I'll never have the "pleasure" of drinking again. Reid (2718) - Salem, Oregon, USA - NOV 9, 2003
12 oz clear glass bottle with painted label with a turtle on it.
The appearance is pretty bad..urine looking..with a rather bubble head..real unattractive.
This beer smelled awful..as soon as i opened the cap..it just stank bad..not appetizing.
taste is weak but i was releaved it was not as abad as the stench this gives off...just the tatse of cheap corn syrup really.
Not too great in the mouth weak and watery at best disturbingly cloying at worst.
not drinkable at all for me down their with its mentor Corona.. labattblueleaf (225) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 23, 2003
Crummy, watered-down taste, plus a bit of a skunky smell and flavor. Better off drinking Busch. Cool bottle though.
DeltaBlues (9) - Yakima, Washington, USA - OCT 12, 2003 does not count
It's what it is, a light, crisp Latin beer. I think it's head and hoppiness rate it higher than the Sol's, Tecate's, XX and Corona's of the world though. bac080 (398) - Bloomington, Illinois, USA - AUG 10, 2003
This is a cool looking bottle. Sadly, the beer isn't quite as cool. At least I can say I had one from El Salvador. savitska (163) - Smyrna, Georgia, USA - AUG 7, 2003
Hands down one of the nastiest beers I've had in a while. On a whim because it was on sale at Kroger I bought this Corona look-and-sound alike hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Instead I was treated to watery yellow liquid that couldn't pass muster as beer if it was poured into a vat of Guinness. Absolutely putrid! drewcifer85710 (158) - Youngstown, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2003
Strong points: cool bottle, inexpensive, is probably cold. Nothing interesting to taste or say. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - MAY 29, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2005 A nice, refreshing summer beer with a really nifty sea turtle on the bottle. Affordable and tasty,
this is my favorite everyday south-of-the-border beer... did i mention about the cool blue turtle on the bottle? :-)
